The 1st TerminalTag
On 4 November, the Studiengesellschaft für den Kombinierten Verkehr (SGKV e.V.) organized the first "TerminalTag" in Berlin. Together with a specialist audience from politics, business, and research, current concerns of CT terminals were addressed and solutions for current problems were developed. The importance of the terminal as an interface between the modes of transport is recognized by politics and business alike - and politicians will continue to fight for the promotion of the construction and expansion of transshipment facilities in the future. The discussions confirmed the great interest in the optimization of communication and operating procedures in the intermodal transport chain and the willingness to find solutions together in the industry.
