As different as the players involved in combined transport (CT) are, so different is the motivation for membership of the SGKV. However, an important advantage for all members is the excellent networking in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) with access to all relevant players in working groups, general meetings or events. This applies to practical actors as well as to equipment manufacturers, service providers or research institutions.
It is our aim that each member sees itself not only as a member of the network but also as an active part of combined transport and helps to further optimize CT to make it fit for the future. For this reason, membership offers the opportunity to actively shape combined transport in the short, medium and long term by participating or supporting working groups, standardization committees, research projects, contributing to position papers, discussions, at events or national and international political committees, and much more, and to draw attention to their concerns.
